Well folks, we've been under ice for the last 5 days and it stinks. Winter Storm Cleon came through our neck of the woods and wreaked its havoc on us. The sun has been sparse enough to make us wonder if it was even there. Down here in Texas, we aren't prepared for this kind of weather, so when it hits us, it hits us hard and we can't do anything about it. This weeks playlist is all about how to deal with snowy weather when all you wanna do is hit the beach and sip on a margarita.

1. Freezin' For No Reason - KD Moore

2. Just Came Down For The Weekend - Mark Mulligan

3. Sunshine Anthem - Todd Sparks

6. 12 Days of Snowbird Christmas - Brent Burns

Being stuck indoors this past weekend really made me go a little stir-crazy. Every window I looked out was gloomy and icey. I kept thinking the next time I looked out, it was going to be sunny and 75 degrees. Since it didn't happen, I just sat down and wrote this playlist out! "Freezin' For No Reason" by KD Moore kicks off this week's show and I can't think of a better way to get it started! Up next is "Just Came Down For The Weekend" by Mark Mulligan and "Sunshine Anthem" by Todd Sparks. "Flip Flop Therapy" by Kelly Brown follows, then a pair of songs from Brent Burns, "If It's Snowbird Season, Why Can't We Shoot 'Em?" and "12 Days of Snowbird Christmas" (not to be confused with our own 12 Days Of Christmas). Up next is "Beachfront Town" by Larry Joe Taylor and "This Ain't Duval Street" by The Boat Drunks. "Suntan Lotion #9" by Jim Morris and, something I think we all need right about now, "Tropical Vacation" by Kelly McGuire are up next! Of course, during my stay indoors over the weekend, Jimmy was played more than a few times, It's just so hard to pick one for the show. I decided on "Boat Drinks". Up next is "Another Day In Paradise" by Southern Drawl Band and "Little Summertime" by Dennis McCaughey and Tropical Soul. Closing out the show are "Haole Hawaiian Christmas" by Eric Stone and a great reminder of what's to come, "It's Almost Summer" by Jake and the Half-Conched Band.
