The Ellis County Community Shoebox Packing Party, benefitting Operation Christmas Child, will be held at The Avenue Church (1761 N Highway 77, Waxahachie) on Saturday, September 24 from 1-4 PM.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief organization headed by Franklin Graham that collects gift-filled shoeboxes and delivers them to children living in desperate situations around the world. In 2015, more than 11.2 million boxes were delivered globally with 8.7 million coming from the United States. Ellis County alone contributed approximately 5000 gift-filled shoeboxes!
Please bring small toys, school supplies, and/or hygiene items and come join the fun as we pack shoeboxes for children in need.
