The Waxahachie Symphony Association is kicking off their 40th Anniversary with a free concert for the public at the Sims Library on the front lawn. People may begin arriving at 5:30, but the music by the Classic Swing Band will start at 7:00. The band will explain the type of music to be played so the children can learn. The Library will be open on the side for restrooms, and to sign up for Library cards. Bring a picnic dinner, blanket, chairs, etc. and come enjoy great music!
