RL Harris BBQ

A message from Ken,

“I am introducing my 628 mile “Never Quit March for Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) Awareness”.

I am paying tribute to the 19 servicemen who lost their lives during Operation Red Wings on 6/28/05, and the 22 veterans who lose their battle to PTS every day.

During my 628 mile march, I will alternate between walking 19 miles per day and 22 miles per day. Along the way, I will be spreading awareness for PTS.

I will start the journey at my VFW Post 4709, in Conroe and end at Crystal Beach in time for Texas Frog Fest 2016. All proceeds from fundraising will be donated to the Lone Survivor Foundation to help their mission to restore, empower, and renew hope for our wounded service members.”

About the Event in Midlothian

Come join veteran Ken Meyers on May 5th as he rucks his way from Waxahachie up the Chris Kyle Memorial Highway to Midlothian. We need your help to make this event as big as Ken’s spirit,  by being there to cheer for Ken as we show our support for him, our service men and women, our veterans and those who gave all. They choose to never quit for us, so let’s show how we will never quit supporting them.

What goes better with supporting our troops and vets here in The Lone Star State? Some genuine Texas BBQ!  A huge thank you to RL Harris BBQ for showing your support and providing the location for Ken’s arrival, the food and place for the days festivities.

Let’s show our support and make this event as big as Ken’s spirit.
