Charity 5-K Race & 1 Mile Family Fun Run, Saturday, November 8, 2014 in historic downtown Waxahachie. Honoring our Veterans and benefitting The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Ellis County. Held in conjunction with Waxahachie Veterans’ Weekend Celebration and WWII Battle Re-enactment & Encampment in downtown Waxahachie. 5-K Course will go from Historic Courthouse Square to Getzendaner Park & return. Fun Run will also start & end at Courthouse Square. WWII-era & military costumes are encouraged! The event will include family entertainment, music, food, and information booths (located at Courthouse Square & along race course route).
