Six Flags Over Texas Fright Fest Returns With Haunted Mazes and Ticket Giveaway

Fright Fest is officially back at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, and for longtime North Texas residents, it’s a familiar fall ritual. The event launched in 1988 as Fright Night, took on the Fright Fest name in 1992, and has grown into one of the largest Halloween celebrations in the metroplex. It runs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, making it an easy weekend trip from Waxahachie.

Thrill-seekers have five haunted mazes to choose from this year: The Conjuring Universe, The Strangers: No Escape, SAW: Legacy of Terror, EverSmile Industries, and Terror at the Polynesian Palm. Each one requires a special attraction pass, so plan for that when you buy tickets. Beyond the mazes, the park is loaded with scare zones and live shows.

Families with younger kids get their own lineup, including a Trick-Or-Treat Trail, a children’s costume contest, and a hay bale maze. And here’s the part worth acting on: listeners in the Mix 93-1 and 101.5 KNUE listening area can win a pair of tickets to the event. Whether you’re a maze veteran or just there for the candy trail, Fright Fest is close enough for a weeknight trip up 287.

What’s your favorite Fright Fest maze of all time? Tell us in the comments.
