Kidd’s Kids Day 2026: How to Help Send Kids to Disney World on October 7

Wednesday, October 7, is Kidd’s Kids Day, the single biggest fundraising push of the year for the Kidd’s Kids trip to Walt Disney World. This marks the 35th anniversary of the trip, which sends about 30 children with life-altering or life-threatening conditions, plus their immediate families, to Orlando for five days the week before Thanksgiving. Everything is covered: airfare, hotel, park passes, meals, transportation, souvenirs, and character visits. Families never see a bill.

You’ve got two ways to help. Donate anytime at KiddsKids.org/donation, or call 888.792.5439 on Wednesday between 6 and 10:30 a.m. That’s the Southwest Airlines call center taking donations live that morning. The entire trip is funded by KiddNation donations, which means Kidd’s Kids Day is not optional. If the day falls short, the trip doesn’t happen.

We love this one because it’s local generosity with a very clear destination. Thirty kids, their parents and siblings, one unforgettable week. If your family has ever made the drive down I-35 to catch a flight out of DFW for a vacation, you know what that anticipation feels like. These kids get to feel it too. Who in your family would be first in line for Space Mountain?
