Bruno’s Pizza & Pasta has been a Tyler staple since 1976, and this week the Rumbelow family is celebrating 50 years of homemade pizza and Italian dishes. The milestone party runs October 15 and 16, 2026 at 15770 FM 2493, with Happy Hour specials from 4 to 6 p.m. both days, plus giveaways, door prizes, and plenty of Bruno’s favorites on hand.

The centerpiece for a lot of fans is a Facebook page contest with free pizza for a year on the line. Fifty years is rare for any restaurant, and even rarer for one that’s stayed family-owned the whole way. Rising food costs and new competition have closed plenty of local spots, but Bruno’s keeps showing up for East Texas.
