Blue Bell has brought back two holiday favorites, and they’re already landing in freezers around Waxahachie. Christmas Cookies and Peppermint Bark are both back for the season, which means you can start planning your holiday dessert table now, even if the thermostat hasn’t gotten the memo yet.

Christmas Cookies is the one that gets people talking. It mixes chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and sugar cookie pieces into sugar cookie ice cream, then adds red sprinkles and a green icing swirl. It’s only sold in half-gallon containers, so if it’s your pick, grab the big one. Peppermint Bark is the minty counterpart, featuring mint ice cream with dark chocolate-flavored chunks and peppermint bark pieces, and it comes in both half-gallon and pint sizes.

Blue Bell even joked in its online post about trying to save some for Santa Claus, which is a tradition none of us have ever managed to pull off.
