Cowboys Seek Rare Winning Streak Under Schottenheimer Against Cardinals

The Cowboys ended their two-week rut in a big way last Sunday, rolling past Philadelphia 38-21 with Javonte Williams running for a career-high 155 yards and the offense posting season highs in points and total yards. Now Dallas returns to AT&T Stadium with a chance to win consecutive games for the first time this season, something that has happened only once in Brian Schottenheimer’s tenure.

Don’t let Arizona’s 2-5 record fool you. The Cardinals have won nine of the past 10 meetings in this series and are a perfect 4-0 at AT&T Stadium. They also bring tight end Trey McBride, whose 59 catches are the most by any tight end through seven games in NFL history. Pair that with a Dallas run defense ranked 31st in the league, and Sunday looks far tougher than the standings suggest.

Kickoff is set for noon local time on Fox. With four home games in five weeks ahead, the Cowboys have a real chance to build something, if they can finally string together consistent performances.

What’s your prediction for Sunday? Do the Cowboys keep it rolling, or do the Cardinals’ series dominance continue? Let us know in the comments.
